Slate is a small personal project, open by invitation only. This page explains what it stores and why.

Signing in

Slate uses Google sign-in. It receives your name, email address and Google account ID, and uses them only to identify you and to decide whether you're invited. It doesn't ask for access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts or anything else in your Google account.

What Slate stores

Slate stores the pages you and your agent create, their data, and your conversations with your agent. Everything is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts Slate. A single cookie keeps you signed in; there are no ads or third-party trackers.

Your agent

Messages you send your agent, and the information it works with, are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate its replies. Device features such as location, camera or notifications are only used when you allow them in your browser.

Sharing

Slate never sells your data or shares it with anyone except the services above. A page you choose to share is visible to the people you share it with.

Deleting your data

You can delete any page you own from Slate at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, contact Nate Parrott.
